Billet clamp lifter - BL59
Overview
The Aardwolf BL59 is a billet clamp lifter designed for handling marble and granite slabs after cutting.
This stone slab lifting clamp operates using a gravity-based mechanism, allowing the operator to grip and release materials efficiently during lifting operations.
With a 5–60 mm grip range and a 200 kg working load limit (WLL), the BL59 is suitable for handling thin slabs in stone processing environments.
How It Works
The lifter is attached to a hoisting system and positioned between stone slabs. One jaw is not rubber-lined, allowing it to be easily inserted into narrow gaps between cut slabs. As lifting begins, the clamp engages and holds the material securely. When the load is set down, the clamp releases automatically.
Key Features
- Gravity-operated clamping system: Automatically grips during lifting and releases when lowered
- Single non-rubber jaw design: Allows easy insertion between tightly stacked or freshly cut slabs
- Rubber-lined opposing jaw: Provides grip while helping protect the slab surface
- Compact and simple structure: Suitable for stone processing and workshop environments
Applications
- Handling marble and granite slabs after cutting
- Separating and lifting thin stone slabs from saw lines
- Use in stone fabrication workshops and processing plants
Usage Notes
- Ensure the clamp is properly positioned between slabs before lifting
- Do not exceed the rated load capacity
- Keep contact surfaces clean for proper grip
- Do not use on slabs outside the grip range
- Never stand under a suspended load
